A bit about Johanna:

A native of Lech, Austria, she started skiing at the age of three, this was all due to her parents passion for the sport and wanting to get out into the mountains again.

When she was older she started ski racing, but that all came to an end when one of her friends took her off-piste for the first time and for her that was it, powder became her great passion; Mountains, fresh snow, friends and sunshine, that is her perfect day!

In 2003 she started her career teaching skiing. At first it was only part time during school holidays and when she had time from her university studies (she studied sport science). After graduation, you wouldn’t find her anywhere but up the mountains. Her ski instructing has taken her throughout the Alps and then spending the summers in New Zealand, skiing of course.

When the snow is gone she tries to replenish her vitamin D supply. Mountain biking, kayaking, slack lining, running, swimming, hiking and climbing.

If you are confused by her qualifications. She is top level Austrian and they just have cooler names for them.
